KC Compliance Consultant Group offers specific services and assistance to HUD or locally funded non-profit and government entities providing homeless related services and acivities. We posses many years of homeless grant management and compliance oversight experience and expertise. We partner with our clients and their subrecipients to perform site-based, desk monitoring, develop strategies and corrective action plans, to address contractual and expenditure deadline compliance, maximize funding utilization, and improve overall grant management. We also offer, policy and procedural reviews, revisions and recommendations, along with consulting and grant writing.
ABOUT US
KC Compliance Consultant Group was founded in St. Louis, MO in 2015 by Kiauna "K.C." Carbin. K.C. began her career in Human Services with the City of St. Louis in 2009, managing programs in the Aging Division before transitioning to the Homeless Services Division in 2014, as Compliance Officer and then Program Manager. Now residing in Florida, she actively manages all homeless related program, services and activities for Seminole County Government to date. She holds regulatory knowledge and expertise in Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and Continuum of Care (CoC) funding.
The mission of KC Compliance Consultant Group is: to assist CoC's, subrecipients and homeless services providers with successfully implementing and carrying out ground-breaking services, making homelessness rare, brief and non-reoccurring. We approach each of our clients with fresh eyes when reviewing current programs, funding allocations, and homeless strategies.
As HUD continues to revise rules and adjust in our current climate, it's our responsibility to ensure recipients, subrecipients and other service providers are prepared to meet or better yet, exceed the minimum standards.
